ABSTRACT(FULL-TEXT IN HUNGARIAN!)
The article continues the line of thought of Gábor Németh's essay published in Új Pedagógiai Szemle 2026/5-6. on the presence of transcendence in contemporary pedagogical thinking. It sheds light on the fact that the search for transcendence is not a characteristic of modern Christian religion, but is inherent in the spiritual development of man, so its presence in contemporary atheistic thinking is a natural phenomenon. It also highlights that the discussion of transcendence is not explicitly an organizing element of Christian (Catholic) education, so it is not justified to emphasize the believer-atheist fault line when discussing the issue.
